Tom is a senior lawyer who initially joined Lennon Mazzeo in 2011 where he first worked as a paralegal and completed his training contract, before being admitted to practice in February 2014. He moved to London for the year of 2016 where he gained experience at two international firms before returning to Lennon Mazzeo Lawyers in March 2017, and has continued to work for Mazzeo Lawyers.
Tom’s practice areas include:

- Personal injury claims (including sexual assault, WorkCover and TAC)
- Bankruptcy and Liquidation
Prior to moving to London Tom volunteered at the HIV/AIDS Legal Centre for two years, where he advised vulnerable clients on a variety of issues.
Paul joined the firm as a Senior Associate in May 2018, having been admitted to the legal profession in 2013 after completing a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), and Bachelor of Biological Sciences.
Paul brings with him extensive experience in all aspects of:
- Litigation, with particular focus in Family Law, Building and Construction disputes; insolvency matters and debt collection;
- Commercial contracts law and general commercial transactions
- Leasing and purchases/sales of business assets
- Estate planning including disputes over Wills.
Paul has a strong track record in contested matters, and is committed to providing his clients with personal and strategic advice, to ensure his clients achieve the best possible outcome.
Burhan is a passionate and well-rounded lawyer with diverse legal, government and corporate experience. Burhan completed a Bachelor of Laws in 2012 and was admitted to practice in 2013 after completing his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Prior to joining Mazzeo Lawyers, Burhan worked in a boutique general practice law firm, gaining experience and expertise in family, civil and criminal law matters. He has also worked at the Family Court of Australia and in the legal department of National Australia Bank.
During his studies, Burhan volunteered in the early intervention program at the Sunshine Youth Legal Centre to help educate young first time offenders on Victoria’s criminal law system.
Burhan’s practice now focuses primarily on family, personal injury and commercial law matters.
Cassandra initially joined Lennon Mazzeo in June 2017 where she first worked as a paralegal and has continued to work for Mazzeo Lawyers. Cassandra graduated from LaTrobe University with a double degree of Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Business and was admitted to practice law in October 2017.
With the guidance and mentorship of Nick Mazzeo our Principal and Tom McCredie our Senior Associate, Cassandra is building her legal career and hopes her overall experience can make a difference to a client’s life. Being a caring person also means she is sensitive to the variety of issues that clients and their families may face.
Prior to commencing with Mazzeo Lawyers, she spent time with a law firm in their property department and with Barristers in Chambers.
Cassandra is excited about forging her legal career with Mazzeo Lawyers and was attracted to the firm because of its’ strong “values and commitment to both clients and staff”.
